Love the startup weekend concept – Went to the one in Raleigh this past summer and met a ton of cool people. Unfortunately our business has stalled, but maybe we’ll get back into it at some point. I definitely agree that it is valuable to know SEO– social media doesn’t exist in a vacuum so it’s important to know how it fits in with other important elements/initiatives.

I can totally relate to people not understainding why you would read blogs and try and get the message across. I am new to this and I am frustrated with my layout often on my blog but I do understand how Social Media is more then just networks.
